So anyway, we were remodeling our kitchen and master bath when we actually had an argument over the faucet and fixtures colors. Now as a guy, I’m not one to really give a damn about any colors inside the house unless it has the initials T and V in it.

So why did I care?

Well, because I saw a Moen Showhouse product that I just thought was bad ass! It blew me away, not just the beautiful color but the design and majestic finish (as well as the price!) - I’m like whoaaa, now *that’s* a faucet I want in my bathroom.

My beloved wife challenged me to a duel to the death to decide if I was really going to bring “that thing” in her house. I had no idea there were bathroom fixtures that certain genders treated as avowed enemies.

I pleaded my case, complete with a HD screen presentation to accentuate the colors and laser pen, tracing a precise silhouette around the sexy contours – anything to try and break her out of her Hate Trance but to no avail.

She had to have her brushed nickel sissy faucet that will bring me total humiliation and shame every time I shower or wash my hands. There were a few faucets that had that oil-rubbed bronze color I very much liked (the paint color is very similar but with less shine) and even our dog matches it so to me, it was a no brainer.

It was a fun ride though. The moral of the story is when it comes to a bathroom or kitchen, you may as well completely and totally submit and unconditionally surrender to Her Will now – resistance is futile – you guys HAVE to trust me on that.
